Value Scale Ice Cream Cone

Description

Use this template to teach students value by mixing paints to make tints and shades. Students can practice mixing paint in the boxes of the value scale at top of the printout. The circles with letters inside indicate how much of a paint color to use in each shape.  Students can then feel confident in mixing the colors in the ice cream scoops. After the paint dries, the scoops, cone, and cherry can be cut out and glued together to create a vertical value scale. Print on cardstock or index paper when applying paint.
